As a pale ‘English Rose’ sometimes finding the perfect nude is exceptionally difficult.
Friends with gorgeous tanned skin always praise ‘Oh but English Rose skin is so beautiful and fair’ but we all know that it can sometimes limit your choices of make-up (and sometimes even the damn lightest shade of foundation doesn’t match well enough)!
During a visit to Nottingham I decided now that I was to be professionally working, finding that right shade of lipstick was essential.
As a thunderstorm hit, and a huge bout of rain flooded central Nottingham, the bright lights of the MAC store guided me in…..I just couldn’t say no!
The sales assistant was fantastic at matching a colour for me, and suggested the shade ‘Hue’ as the right kind of nude for work and nighttime.
The texture is creamy and smooth, and stays on for a good few hours. Even whilst rushing around at work over summer, it has managed to have staying power of at least until lunchtime,
At £15.50 rrp it’s not the cheapest of lipsticks, however I definitely will be re-purchashing when term starts again in September!
